Community Health Camps
Overview

Pakistan has been prone to healthcare problems for decades. The spread rate of infectious diseases is higher in Pakistan as compared to the other developing countries. With the ongoing struggle against HIV concentration outbreak, viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, and the dengue fever epidemic, the emergence of COVID-19 was quite unsettling. Early detection and the availability of equitable and sustainable health services pave the way to break the chain of transmission.

The first component of the program includes HBsAg, HCV, HIV testing, and Hep-B vaccination campaigns across Pakistan. It will provide screening and vaccination services to medical and dental students, health care providers, and residents from diverse regions of Pakistan.

The second component comprises the TB Chest Camps that aims to find the missing millions and establish healthy referral networks with the government for free diagnostic and treatment facilities.

For the year 2021, we managed to screen approximately 1800 people for Hepatitis B and C, and vaccinated 900 people against Hepatitis B. We aim to exceed this number for 2022 and reach maximum audience throughout the country.
