World Immunization Week – celebrated every year in the last week of April – aims to promote the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against disease. Immunization saves millions of lives every year and is widely recognized as one of the world’s most successful health interventions. Using the theme “CALLING ALL THE SHOTS” an event was held by UCMD–UOL VFAHT Local Council to create awareness in local community regarding vaccination. UCMD–UOL VFAHT Local Council planned Five-day online campaign from 26th of April to 30th of April, 2021 under supervision of Project Support Secretary Assam Akbar Cheema.

UCMD–UOL VFAHT Local Council focused on following vaccines,
Polio, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis B, Covid-19, Mumps and Measles, BCG, DPT and Facts and Myths regarding vaccines.
Our campaign was run on social media and we shared the posters on WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram. . The campaign actually drew attention of people towards vaccination because several myths were debunked and many facts were brought to light.
The posters made were elegant, brief and easy to understand with visual aid.

30 April Facts and Myths.

By our posters we were able to clear many misconceptions regarding vaccination and we hope that people will incline more towards vaccination. We think we were successful in delivering the message we intended to convey.
