On 28 July 2021, VFAHT RMU organized a Hepatitis Screening Camp at Panah Gaah, Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi. The event commenced with Cake Cutting Ceremony to celebrate World Hepatitis Day 2021. The participants also indulged in a Hepatitis Awareness Walk led by Prof Muhammad Umar (Vice Chancellor, RMU). More than 154 people were screened at the camp using HBV and HCV Rapid Diagnostic Testing (RDT) kits. This activity aimed to raise awareness about the gravity of hepatitis spread and preventive measures.
