On July 28, 2022, an awareness seminar and a walk were organized at Fatima Jinnah Medical University by IPAC Foundation, VFAHT, The Health Foundation, and IFMSA to commemorate World Hepatitis Day, 2022.

Dr. Muneera Zafar (President, AFJOG) attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
The distinguished guests included Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal (Vice Chancellor, Fatima Jinnah Medical University), M. Sameer Shafi, MD (Chairman, IPAC Foundation), Prof. Dr. Khalid Arshad Butt (Former Professor Gastroenterology-Hepatology, Sheikh Zayed Medical Complex), Dr. Shazia Sibghatullah (S.W.M.O. and M.O.P.D. Liver Clinic, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital), Dr. Munir Ahmed (President, The Health Foundation, Punjab) and Dr. Muhammad Ayub Naich (Consultant, Gastroenterology-Hepatology, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital).

The purpose of this event was to raise awareness among medical students regarding the importance of taking the right actions at the right time. The ceremony ended with an awareness walk in which Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gonal accompanied the students.

The guests appreciated the efforts of Dr. Naghmana Lateef (Staff President, VFAHT-FJMU) and all the volunteers.
Dr. Shamsa Humayun (Pro Vice Chancellor, Fatima Jinnah Medical University) awarded shields to the students to recognize their efforts.
