On April 29, 2024, VFAHT-DUHS visited the Al Mohsin Sweet Home for Orphan Children, Karachi to raise awareness about Tuberculosis through an impactful public awareness campaign to an audience of 135 individuals. The campaign featured a skit depicting a dialogue between a doctor and a TB patient, conveying key information about the disease and the importance of early detection and treatment. A presentation further elucidated TB’s causes, transmission, and preventive measures using engaging visuals. A questionnaire session allowed children to participate actively. Cupcakes were distributed as a token of appreciation. This campaign not only raised awareness but also fostered community and compassion, promoting collective responsibility for a healthier future.
