On May 13, 2024, VFAHT-FMC conducted a public awareness campaign in recognition of World TB Day. Volunteers traveled to a remote market in Rawal Town, Islamabad, where they educated shopkeepers and buyers about tuberculosis. The information covered the causative bacterium, symptoms, prevention, and treatment, with an emphasis on the treatable nature of TB and the locations of free treatment centers. The session was highly successful and provided valuable information to all attendees.
