On May 30, 2024, VFAHT-SZMC conducted an impactful Awareness Campaign on Tuberculosis at the Pulmonology and Medicine Ward of Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Rahim Yar Khan. The primary goal of this campaign was to debunk common myths about TB. Volunteers engaged with patients and their attendants, discussing the causes, symptoms, prevention, screening, and treatment of the disease.

The event proceeded smoothly, with the audience responding positively and enthusiastically. Our volunteers observed a significant need for such interactive sessions within the community, as many people are uneducated and misconceptions about infectious diseases are widespread. These educational efforts are crucial in fostering a more informed and healthier society.
