Overview

On September 2, 2024, VFAHT-DUHS conducted an engaging public awareness session on rabies and cat bites at Haji Bayi School as part of the “Building a Healthier Tomorrow: Training and Awareness” initiative. The session featured dynamic interactions between volunteers and the audience, beginning with discussions on the causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment of rabies. A similar approach was taken for cat bites, making the session highly informative and engaging.

To encourage active participation, a Q&A segment was included, followed by a poster activity and gift distribution to the audience. The event also served as a platform to enhance the public speaking skills of the volunteers. The session was a valuable learning experience for both the attendees and the volunteers, promoting health education and community engagement.
