VFAHT UMDC council collaborated with the CME department to host a public awareness seminar on Prevention and control of typhoid fever in Pakistan. The objective of the event was to cultivate awareness of various aspects of prevention and spread of typhoid fever to the audience in hopes to alleviate its widespread occurrence within our local communities. The seminar led by Dr. Iqbal Memon, professor of pediatrics Sir Syed Medical College for Girls, on 7th of June at UMDC lecture hall.
The event was sponsored by Getz pharma and Indus pharma. The attendees consisted of members of the VFAHT media council displaced throughout the hall to capture the proceedings of the event. The seminar gained an audience of 100 including staff and students of UMDC which lasted around an hour and a half.
