On August 26, 2023, VFAHT-DUHS hosted an event at Civil Hospital to raise awareness about Vaccinations. This event was part of National Immunization Awareness Month. The main goal was to help people understand why vaccines are crucial and how not getting vaccinated can lead to serious diseases.

The event started with around 50 volunteers. They were split into 8 smaller groups, each with a leader. Each group got pamphlets with important information about vaccines and the diseases they can prevent. At 12:30 PM, the team proceeded with the awareness walk inside the hospital.
The team explained the importance of vaccination in saving lives. People listened carefully, and some even said they would vaccinate their kids and tell others to do the same.
The event was a success.
