On March 27, 2024 VFAHT-ZU conducted a medical skills workshop on TB at Skills Lab, Ziauddin Hospital. 32 people participated in this workshop which was conducted by Dr. Asmara Ghafoor, Senior registrar at internal medicine. The objectives of the workshop were to educate students about the signs and symptoms of TB, train students in conducting a thorough respiratory examination and to familiarize students with the clinical findings associated with respiratory conditions, including TB, pneumonia, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). At the end, the participants also received hands on practice on mannequins.
