On April 26, 2024, volunteers from VFAHT-FJMU conducted a public awareness campaign on malaria at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore. Targeting the Medicine and Surgery Ward, the volunteers reached out to 20 individuals, aiming to raise awareness through the distribution of informative pamphlets and engaging interactive sessions. The campaign focused on educating attendees about malaria, its prevention, and available treatments. Four groups of dedicated volunteers interacted with the attendants present in the wards, ensuring a comprehensive outreach.
The campaign was a great success, significantly enhancing public knowledge and encouraging proactive measures against malaria.
