On June 6, 2024, VFAHT-JMDC conducted a medical camp at Sohail Trust Hospital, Korangi Karachi, focused on raising awareness about malaria and dengue among patients in the Medicine and Pediatric OPDs. With support from OPD doctors and staff, the team educated patients on disease prevention and provided free mosquito repellents to encourage participation. Media teams created informational flyers and panaflex displays to promote the event.

Patient data was recorded, and those testing positive received counseling on treatment and prevention methods. This initiative effectively enhanced community health in Korangi by increasing awareness about malaria and dengue.
