On May 27, 2024, VFAHT-HBS conducted a public awareness campaign on immunization at HBS General Hospital, Islamabad to educate the community on the importance of immunizations and encourage individuals to get vaccinated against vaccine-preventable diseases. The target audience was children and adults in the hospital with a focus on vulnerable populations such as pregnant women, elderly individuals, and those with compromised immune systems.

The key messages of this campaign were:

• Immunizations save lives and prevent serious illnesses.
• Vaccines are safe and effective.
• Immunizations not only protect individuals but also prevent the spread of diseases in the community.
