To cleanse Pakistan of Hepatitis B and C, it is of utmost important to screen the general population against them. To aid in tackling the burden of this disease, VFAHT in collaboration with the Hepatitis & Infection Control Program, Punjab, and IPAC USA Chapter, organized its very first Hepatitis B & C Screening and Vaccination Community Camp at a construction site in DHA Phase 6, Lahore on December 24, 2021. These camps are being held under the campaign of “Hepatitis Free Campuses” by Infection Prevention and Control Foundation. This activity also addressed the rampant myths about the disease and aimed to raise awareness about the gravity of hepatitis spread and preventive measures. The team showed full adherence to COVID-19 SOPs during the camp.
