On April 30, 2024, the volunteers from VFAHT-DUHS conducted an awareness session on General Hygiene and Immunization at The Anjuman Hayat ul Islam Gurumandir Chowrangi, Karachi where they were able to reach an audience of 40 children. The session started with Eid wishes followed by storytelling about healthy lifestyles and then continued with an interactive discussion about general hygiene, handwashing techniques, oral and respiratory hygiene, and personal grooming. They also discussed the concept and importance of immunization, asking questions throughout the session to engage the children. The session concluded with VFAHT-DUHS volunteers providing pencils and chocolates to all the kids.
