On May 23, 2022 VFAHT – AIMC organized  a door to door awareness campaign in consideration of the recent cholera outbreak in Pakistan at Shah di Khoi, a locality in Lahore.

The campaign highlighted the basic knowledge of cholera, its transmission, precautionary measures and treatment to the general public. It also focused on the importance of handwashing which was demonstrated with gloves and paint. The significance of rehydration through ORS was told and ORS sachets were distributed in each house.

Along with that, cholera Info brochures were distributed. Cholera Awareness posters were also pasted on the walls in the locality. We covered almost 40+ houses in the locality. It was an accomplishing event. The division director and the VPs along with the participants committed their time, effort and knowledge to make this event successful.
