On November 12, 2022, VFAHT-DUHS organized an awareness session on HIV and AIDS.
The target audience was adult females of the Layari Community who are a part of the Kiran Foundation. The audience was guided about the diseases and they were very responsive and asked a lot of questions regarding the misconceptions about HIV. They were briefed about the treatment and tests. There was an active discussion on the modes of transmission and the taboos regarding the disease.
