On June 11, 2022, VFAHT FJMU, organized an awareness campaign in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital regarding Safe Blood Donation Practices.
A team of 30 students from 1st year to Final year went to different departments and wards like Surgery, Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency, OPD, and other people roaming in the hospital and provided them awareness regarding Blood Donation Safety protocols. Students told them detailed information about when to donate blood? How to donate? What safety measures should we consider? pre-donation and post-donation protocols. After that, they distributed brochures to 100+ people.
