The event started with 2 presentations. One was delivered by Izza Tahir, a first-year student, on the prevention of coronavirus. The second presentation was on where we stand today regarding the virus by Abdullah Qureshi. This was followed by a Kahoot quiz which contained 38 questions that ranged from general knowledge, the epidemiology, and microbiology of the virus. Each question’s answer was thoroughly explained after the quiz ended. The first five positions in the quiz were awarded certificates alongside other gifts by the president of the LC, Farzeen Fatma Syed. The first position was given a Parker pen and a notebook, the second and third positions were given a notebook and a pen, and the fourth and fifth positions were given cupcakes. Besides these awards, the winners of the meme competition, which was conducted on Facebook before the event, were given cupcakes. The event was followed by refreshments and all attendees were given participation certificates. Photography was handled by two AKU students.
The presenters were able to keep the audience engrossed for the entirety of the proceeding and delivered awareness regarding the virus. It was a hugely successful event, with an overwhelming response of +100 online, which had to be capped at 60 for this session.
