On October 22, 2024, VFAHT-DUHS held a handwashing awareness session for primary students at The Islamic Educational System, Karachi, highlighting the importance of personal grooming and proper handwashing in observance of World Handwashing Day.

Students learned about personal grooming practices, maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings, and the health risks associated with poor hygiene. The session also included a demonstration of effective handwashing techniques. Volunteers used disposable gloves and poster colors in an engaging activity to reinforce the steps for thorough handwashing. This interactive session successfully emphasized the significance of hygiene in fostering healthier habits among young students.
