On September 14, 2024, VFAHT-JSMU marked World Patient Safety Day with an insightful workshop at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Karachi. Mentored by Dr. Umair Ahmed, Senior Resident at the ER, JPMC, the session provided an in-depth understanding of critical patient safety concepts.

The workshop began with an informative presentation, followed by case discussions on wrong blood transfusions, insulin overdoses, and medication-induced allergic reactions. A group activity concluded the event, enabling participants to apply patient safety principles in practical scenarios. With the active involvement of 30 volunteers, the session proved to be an enriching and impactful learning experience.
