On October 22, 2024, VFAHT-DUHS marked World’s Elderly Day with a meaningful awareness session at Sahara Old Age Home, Karachi, focusing on osteoporosis. This initiative was part of the “Building a Healthier Tomorrow: Training and Awareness by VFAHT-DUHS” campaign.

Volunteers led an interactive program designed to educate the elderly on osteoporosis, discussing its causes, symptoms, and prevention. The session fostered personal interactions, allowing participants to share experiences and concerns, creating a sense of connection. To further enhance the experience, refreshments were provided, ensuring a warm and engaging atmosphere. This event highlighted the importance of both health education and emotional well-being for the elderly.
