On Thursday May 04, 2023, VFAHT-JMDC observed a malaria awareness day at Jinnah Medical and Dental College. All the project directors and executive team came through to assemble this campaign. Informational pamphlets related to malaria covering its transmission, symptoms, and prevention were distributed among the patients. Every OPD and ward was covered thoroughly. The volunteers helped distribute the pamphlets, moreover, they helped patients understand better about the disease by having one on one conversations. The entire campaign was filmed and the social media account was well-updated simultaneously. Every concern that arose from the patients was addressed promptly. Furthermore, they were also asked to repeat what they’ve learned to be sure of the understanding that’s been established. Everyone was quite helpful and we got an excellent response.

The campaign was a success.
