On April 29, 2024, the volunteers from VFAHT-Fazaia Medical College conducted a 2-day awareness campaign on Immunization at the PAF Hospital, Islamabad. They reached a target audience of 300 patients by distributing pamphlets and educating the public about the importance of immunization in prevention of diseases globally. The Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) is a global initiative aimed at providing essential vaccines to children worldwide, protecting them from life-threatening diseases such as measles, polio, and tuberculosis. By incorporating EPI into this event, they emphasized the importance of timely vaccination in ensuring children’s health and well-being. Through informative pamphlets, the event sought to educate individuals about the benefits of vaccinations and encourage them to take proactive steps towards safeguarding their health and the health of their communities.
