On June 20, 2024, VFAHT-BUHSC, in collaboration with VFAHT-BMU, hosted an insightful workshop offering a comprehensive introduction to fundamental research concepts and methodologies. The event aimed to empower participants with essential skills to design, conduct, and analyze research effectively.

Key topics included the significance of research, the differences between qualitative and quantitative methods, data collection techniques, ethical considerations, and the fundamentals of writing and presenting research. Participants were introduced to statistical tools and software like SPSS, R, and NVivo, along with guidance on securing funding and publishing in academic journals.

Interactive group exercises allowed attendees to practice formulating research questions, designing study protocols, and analyzing data, enhancing their practical understanding. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, where participants discussed challenges and sought expert advice.

This collaborative effort provided attendees with a strong foundation in research methodologies, encouraging them to explore and apply these skills in their academic and professional pursuits.
