On April 25, 2024, VFAHT-UMDC conducted a public awareness campaign on tuberculosis at two location in Karachi. One team of volunteers visited the Railway Station, Saddar Karachi while the other team visited the coal factory and textile factory located in Korangi, Karachi.

The campaign aimed to educate factory workers and the public on the prevalence, symptoms, and treatment of tuberculosis. Volunteers distributed informational pamphlets and held briefings in various factory departments. At the railway station, they engaged with the public, sharing statistics and encouraging regular screenings. Interactive sessions debunked myths and misconceptions about the disease. The campaign received positive feedback and was deemed successful in raising tuberculosis awareness.
