On June 29, 2024, the VFAHT-DUHS Hepatitis A & E and Typhoid department, in collaboration with the Hepatitis B & C department, organized a comprehensive awareness campaign in the slum area of Hijrat Colony, Karachi. Volunteers reached out to residents, educating them on crucial topics such as the transmission, prevention, symptoms, and treatment of Hepatitis. To reinforce this knowledge and facilitate long-term awareness, the team distributed flyers summarizing key points discussed.
This initiative successfully engaged the community, equipping residents with valuable information to protect themselves and their families from hepatitis-related risks.
