On September 07, 2024, VFAHT-JSMU hosted a Monkeypox awareness campaign at NICH, Karachi. With Monkeypox cases on the rise globally since 2022, the campaign aimed to educate the community about the virus.

The sessions highlighted key aspects, including transmission methods, symptoms such as fever, swollen lymph nodes, and pox-like rashes, along with potential complications and treatment options. Volunteers distributed informative pamphlets to reinforce understanding and promote prevention. The initiative successfully empowered attendees with the knowledge to manage and mitigate Monkeypox risks.
