On September 04, 2024, VFAHT-BUHSC organized a comprehensive public awareness campaign at Bahria School and College, Karachi, to address the growing concerns around malaria and dengue fever. The event united community members, health professionals, and local leaders to discuss preventive measures and promote public health.
The campaign featured expert-led educational sessions on disease transmission, symptoms, and prevention, alongside interactive workshops on creating mosquito repellents, eliminating breeding sites, and recognizing early warning signs of infection. Informational brochures and posters were distributed, and practical demonstrations reinforced key messages. Additionally, free health screenings were conducted to identify potential cases.
This impactful initiative significantly enhanced public knowledge about malaria and dengue prevention, encouraging attendees to adopt safer practices and actively participate in reducing mosquito breeding sites.
