On September 12, 2024, VFAHT-DUHS conducted an engaging awareness session on infectious diseases at Govt. Boys & Girls School, Channesar Goth, Karachi. Volunteers educated students on infectious diseases such as mpox, chickenpox, and measles, focusing on their causes, symptoms, and prevention strategies.

The session also included guidance on managing minor bleeding and burns, equipping students with practical first-aid knowledge. To conclude, a fun and interactive activity was held, where students guessed terminologies related to the discussed diseases and shared their thoughts, reinforcing their learning in an enjoyable manner.
