On August 14, 2024, VFAHT-BUHSC, in collaboration with Hammad Foundation, hosted a meaningful plantation drive at North Nazimabad Park, Karachi, to celebrate the nation’s independence while promoting environmental sustainability. The event combined patriotic pride with impactful action, fostering community engagement and environmental stewardship.
Participants enthusiastically planted 100 native trees, shrubs, and flowering plants, contributing to the park’s greenery and enhancing air quality. Alongside the plantation activity, educational workshops highlighted the importance of trees in combating climate change and provided guidance on proper planting techniques and sapling care.
