On August 14, 2024, VFAHT-JMDC organized a Hepatitis Awareness Campaign and Independence Day celebration at Maidan School, Karachi, targeting children aged 6 to 18. The event raised awareness about Hepatitis A & E, emphasizing prevention and early diagnosis through engaging activities. It began with an introduction by the president of VFAHT-JMDC, followed by a skit on hepatitis prevention and a demonstration of proper handwashing techniques.

The celebration featured patriotic songs, face painting, and goody bag distributions, creating a festive atmosphere, while informative pamphlets were shared with families to extend the message of awareness. The campaign successfully achieved its goals of promoting health-conscious behavior and fostering a sense of national pride, setting a strong foundation for future collaborations.
