On July 31, 2024, VFAHT AMDC conducted an awareness campaign in Maraka, a town near Bahria Town Lahore, in honor of World Hepatitis Day. Volunteers visited approximately 80-100 houses and shops in the area, distributing pamphlets that informed residents about the prevalence of hepatitis, its symptoms, and the importance of seeking medical attention. They also provided guidance on available vaccines and encouraged community members to get vaccinated.
This initiative aimed to enhance public knowledge about hepatitis and promote preventive measures within the local community.
