On July 18,2024, VFAHT-JSMU conducted an awareness campaign led by the dedicated Team Heads of the Hepatitis B and C team outside the Dental OPD at the Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences (SIOHS). Approximately 50 individuals were engaged and educated about the risk factors, signs, symptoms, and prevention strategies for hepatitis.

The team emphasized the importance of safe needle usage and personal hygiene to combat the disease’s spread. Attendees were encouraged to get vaccinated against Hepatitis B, addressing the increasing prevalence of this often unreported illness within the community. Informative pamphlets were distributed to provide additional resources and support.
