On June 01, 2024, VFAHT-DUHS conducted a Public Awareness Campaign on Heatstroke at the Trauma Center and OPD of Civil Hospital, Karachi. The goal of this campaign was to inform people about heatstroke, including ways to prevent, identify, and help someone experiencing it, so that the public would be aware of heatstroke and its implications during the ongoing heat wave.

Volunteers approached individuals near the trauma center and the outpatient departments, distributing informative pamphlets. The session was highly engaging and interactive, with the audience eager to learn and attentively listening to the volunteers. This allowed the team to educate more than 150 people.
