On September 9, 2024, VFAHT-ZU, in collaboration with the ZCRS Student Council and the First Response Initiative of Pakistan, hosted the First Response Workshop exclusively for medical students at Ziauddin University, Karachi. The workshop focused on equipping participants with essential first aid and emergency response skills critical for life-threatening situations.
Facilitated by experienced trainers, the session provided hands-on training in managing cardiac arrests, trauma, and airway obstructions, empowering students to respond effectively to emergencies. The event emphasized practical application, preparing future healthcare professionals to deliver critical care under pressure in both clinical and community settings.
