On August 24, 2024, VFAHT-JSMU, in collaboration with RESQ, organized an engaging First Aid workshop attended by approximately 50 students. The workshop began with an introduction to the Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing and Circulation (DRABC) protocol, providing a solid foundation for emergency response. Participants learned essential first aid techniques, including managing choking, fractures, and bleeding, along with basic life support protocols.
The highlight of the session was the hands-on practice, where students actively participated in simulations to apply their knowledge. This interactive approach not only sharpened their skills but also instilled confidence to handle real-life emergencies effectively. The workshop proved to be an invaluable learning experience, equipping participants with life-saving skills and fostering a sense of preparedness.
