On September 5, 2024, VFAHT-DUHS conducted the second campaign in the EmpowerHer series on Breastfeeding Awareness at the Gynae and Paeds wards of Civil Hospital, Karachi. A team of 12 to 15 dedicated volunteers participated after being briefed on effective interaction techniques.

The volunteers engaged with new and breastfeeding mothers, educating them about the importance, benefits, and correct methods of breastfeeding. They also addressed mothers’ concerns, providing valuable support and guidance. This impactful session aimed to enhance mothers’ knowledge and improve their overall motherhood experience, reflecting VFAHT-DUHS’s commitment to maternal and child health.
