On September 12, 2024, Team VFAHT-IMC conducted a successful cholera awareness campaign in Village Tando Saindad. The team engaged with street vendors, visited the PPHI center, and educated the local community about the signs, symptoms, and prevention of cholera.
In addition, a visit to a local girls’ school allowed the team to emphasize the importance of hand hygiene, teaching students the 7-step handwashing technique. The interactive session was well-received, with the students actively participating.
The campaign, led by 21 dedicated volunteers, made a positive impact on the community, enhancing their understanding of cholera prevention and promoting better health practices.
