The essence of the talk was to give professional awareness to the people of the community to lower their stigma of getting diagnosed with a chronic disease such as hepatitis. Stigmatization leads to hiding the fact and suffering in silence ultimately falling prey to complications of any disease. The professors not only highlighted the role of the health care community in lowering the disease but also tried to encourage the community so that it breaks the stigma and motivates their acquaintances to get themselves treated as early as possible. Since we are lucky to have the majority of the medication against hepatitis C in the oral form now. Objective: Community Awareness Speakers: Assist. prof. Dr.Daiz Rasool Associate prof.
